My Keys are Disappearing!

I'm looking at my laptop keys and some of the letters have almost completely faded off. Thanks goodness I can type without looking at where the letter keys are, but the other day my husband was all like, "Where the hell is the letter A?" haha. Yes. My A has pretty much vanished. And all that's left of the letter E is the bottom line. Other letters that are fading are the S, D, C, B, N, M, L and, the... > key? Okay, do NOT know what that one is about cause I seriously...Oh, wait. dur. That key also holds the period. Okay. Now THAT makes sense. And, now that I think about it, the A, N, M, L, and E keys are all in my name. Do I type my name that often?? I don't think I do. Hmm...

What about you? Which of your computer/laptop keys are disappearing on you?

  1. That's a lot of fading keys! The lightest key on mine is the letter M. I guess that's the letter of the day a lot at my house. LOL!

  2. I don't think that any of mine have disappeared. Then again, my computer is newer. Would have to look at the old laptop.

Random blogs are sometimes the best. :)

  3. My J key was totally stuck two months ago, which is beyond annoying when your name is JENNIFER. In my quest to fix it (by picking relentlessly at the key), I broke it. And then the E went, and the N started to stick. I decided it was a sign I needed a new computer. :)

  4. None of mine are fading, but then they have a protective layer of felted cat hair covering them.

  5. My E key disappeared from my computer keypad, but my macbook is pretty new so nothing's faded here yet!

  6. I go through a keyboard a year on my PC because my letters disappear. On my laptop E, N, and M are fading. Sorry you have the problem as well. But I'm glad I'm not the only one. :)
